The whole of UAE braced to witness the opening of Danube Metro Station earlier known as Jebel Ali Industrial Station on 12.12.12. Danube Group is the first expatriate entity to join hands with Dubai Metro’s Naming Rights Project launched by the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), securing naming rights for the Jebel Ali Industrial Station which is now renamed as Danube.
H. E. Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of RTA issued the first set of tickets to H.E. Eng. Sultan Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy, UAE; Ms. Salma Ali Saif Bin Hareb, CEO of JAFZA; Mr. Ebrahim Al Janahi, Deputy CEO of JAFZA and Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder & Chairman of Danube Group, the official inauguration of the Metro Station commenced. The event also
marked the esteemed presence of Mr. Adnan Al Hammadi, CEO of the RTA Rail Agency; Mr. Abdullah Al Madani, CEO of RTA Corporate Technical Support Services Sector; Mr. Talal Al Hashemi, Managing Director of JAFZA; Mr. Asim Al Abbasi, CFO of JAFZA; Mr. Anis Sajan, Managing Director
of Danube Group, Mr. Adel Sajan, Director of Buildmart and high profile officials from RTA and JAFZA.
