Danube Makes An Ambitious Entry Into Dubai’s Realty Market

Danube recently made a spectacular foray into the real estate market in Dubai with its new venture ‘Danube Properties’. At a press conference organized at the Grand Hyatt, Danube Properties announced its plan of making a gallant entry into the property market, & declared legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar as its Brand Ambassador. The company also took the opportunity to unveil its first residential project ‘Dreamz by Danube’, which Mr. Gavaskar inaugurated at the event.

The venture into Dubai’s booming realty market, in the form of establishing Danube Properties is the brainchild of Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder & Chairman of Danube Group, who after thorough research & careful planning with his team, combined with his personal entrepreneurial acumen, decided to take the step this direction. Speaking to distinguished guests & the media at the event, Mr. Sajan said, “We are proud of Danube’s progress over the last 20 years & it is heart-warming to see the brand celebrate yet another milestone.”

‘Dreamz by Danube’ is a premium residential project being constructed in Al Furjan area of Dubai. Expected to be completed by 2016, the massive project will comprise of 171 attractive town houses. With the entry of Danube Properties as a strong player in the market, the healthy competition will not only intensify,but will also go a long way in reducing monopoly of the bigger builders and boost fair pricing and quality service. Speaking highly of Danube’s new venture and project, Mr. Gavaskar said, “A thorough market study, current opportunities along with understanding of the Group’s strengths were behind the new strategy. We are confident that this strategy in addition to their respect and position in the market will give Danube the flexibility to take advantage of the market opportunities, while maintaining its focus on being a leading provider of building materials and home interior products across the region.”
The press conference was followed by an official sale of the project where, over 2,000 prospective buyers
registered for the sales event, with units offered on first-come-first-serve basis. All of the 171 townhouses
within ‘Dreamz by Danube’ project were sold out within 3 hours on the first day of the commercial
launch.
“This is our first project and the sell-out of all of the 171 townhouses reflect investor confidence in
Danube Properties as well as the real estate market in Dubai,” said Chairman of Danube Group and Danube Properties, Mr. Rizwan Sajan. “This end-user and investor endorsement will encourage us to carry out our construction works and deliver the project in a timely manner to our valued customers by 2016 and  also launch many such projects in the coming years,” Sajan said.

Mr. Sajan was honored with the prestigious award at a glamorous gala dinner and awards ceremony held in the Godolphin Ballroom, Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

Commenting on the momentous occasion, Mr. Sajan in a statement to the press said, “It’s an honour to be associated with Forbes Middle East for the second consecutive year. Al Maktoum Business Award. Sajan was also credited for being the first private expatriate entity to have officially licensed an agreement with the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) securing naming rights
under the second phase of the Dubai Metro Naming Rights Project.

As a part of the launch campaign, the stunning actress also unveiled the new logo of Danube Buildmart now known as Danube Home which will offer soft furnishing in addition to the hard fixtures offered by the brand.

Danube Honoured at Mohamed Bin Saud Award For SME Enterprises 2013

Buildmart RAK, Danube’s state-of-the-art retail complex in Ras Al Khaimah was awarded for the “Best Trading Enterprise” category of the H.H. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Saud Award for SME Enterprises 2013.

The prestigious award was presented to Danube Group’s Managing Director, Mr. Anis Sajan at a glittering award ceremony. The event was graced by H.E. Danube Pioneers Test Series in the UAE Danube

Danube has taken the initiative of introducing Test Series Cricket in the UAE, the first of its kind in the country. The series, initiated by Mr. Anis Sajan, was held on the ICC Global Cricket Academy grounds. This series will provide an opportunity for young cricketers from UAE to be more familiar with the T20 format to improve on their endurance. Since, the UAE team has qualified for the 2015 World Cup. There is an immense support for the test series from the UAE government. Therefore, this two day Test Series will be a challenge that the cricketers will have to face and conquer.

Danube Group Launches Three Showrooms in Saudi Arabia

The Expo 2020 is trickling its positive implications not only in the UAE, but also across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). In lieu of the same, Danube, the leading construction and home interior company in the UAE announced the opening of 3 new showrooms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) reflecting the buoyant construction  and building material industry in the GCC and MENA region.

The newly opened showrooms in KSA are located at Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. The North Jeddah showroom’s area is 6,000 sq. meters and mainly stocks Rebar, Plywood, Ceramic Tiles and Sanitary Fittings. The showroom at Exit B5 on King Abdul Aziz Street in Riyadh is 3,000 sq. meters in area, and its products in focus are similar to the ones offered at the Jeddah showroom. In addition to these products, the showroom in Khudriya at Dammam spread across 6,000 sq. meters also stocks Timber and MDF. “The construction sector in Saudi Arabia and in other countries of the region is witnessing a rapid development, implying that the region has a huge potential for big investment.
In general, most of the countries in the GCC and the MENA region are growing, indicating healthy business outcomes,” commented Mr. Rizwan Sajan, Founder & Chairman of Danube Group while making
the announcement.

Danube has grown from a small trading firm to one of the largest building materials company in the region. Today the company has its presence across UAE, Bahrain, Muscat, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kenya, Libya, India and China.
