We are seeking a skilled and experienced Arabic Furniture and Interior Designer with expertise in the home industry in the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a passion for furniture design, along with a strong background in product development. This role involves creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing furniture designs that meet market demands and align with our brand identity. This role involves conceptualizing, research and implementing furniture design solutions that meet our target customer’s needs, with an insight on latest industry trends and in sync with business strategies.
- Create visually appealing mood boards, sketches, technical drawings and 3D renderings to help build trendy and customer focused design collections.
- Develop creative and functional furniture designs that align with market trends, brand guidelines, and customer preferences.
- Research and select appropriate materials for furniture construction, considering factors such as durability, cost, and sustainability. Stay updated on new materials and technologies within the furniture industry.
- Oversee the prototyping process, working closely with suppliers to create prototypes of new furniture designs, Conduct testing and evaluations to assess the functionality, comfort, and quality of prototypes.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and emerging trends in the furniture industry.
- Analyze competitor products and designs to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the design and development process.

Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field. Interior design with furniture design is an additional advantage.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in furniture design and product development within the home industry.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3D Max or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of furniture designs and successful product development projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Should be enthusiastic, creative and appetite to learn and grow.
